I have been renting at Parkfield for 18 months in a 2nd floor 1 bedroom apt. The floor plan is well thought out and the amount of windows is outstanding - really nice. You can probably find a more elegant place, but you'll pay for it. That's why I say "Parkfield is a good value for the the money". Having a washer and dryer in the unit is great and the grounds are kept nice. Speaking from my experience, the staff in the office and on the maintenance team are good caliber people. There's nothing that I can report as to being unprofessional from my view point. I read a couple of these reviews and frankly I am surprised by the authors' descriptions about being treated unfairly. I don't know them so I can't say. All I can tell you is my own analysis - I'm satisfied with the product and service up to this point. I reccommend that you give it a try or at least come in to look around.
