Reasons we like Premier Lofts (Pros)...
The location/convenience
The "style" of apartments they offer/very trendy decor, etc./cool floorplans
The gym

(Cons:)
Considering the amount of rent that you pay to live here, it's ridiculous that:
* the parking garage is so filthy that you track dirt into your car,you can't set anything on the floor of the garage or it will be covered in dirt and if your wearing slick-soled shoes...be careful because you will slip.

The outside parking lot across the street is cleaner.

We have lived here for over 2 years and the garage has NEVER been cleaned.
* The carpeting in the hallways is stained and the walls are scuffed.

There is artwork throughout the building but some of it was stolen and never replaced...so now there are just empty spots where it used to hang.
* the office staff is extremely unproffessional.

They won't answer the phone...too busy lounging in the common areas flirting with the residents.

They were nice until we leased, now they are extremely rude and inefficient.

I've never even seen the manager.

Our work orders have either gotten poor service with no follow up or no response at all.

The general feeling is that the office staff doesn't care.
* in the past month I have woken up twice to discover no hot water.

There are other apparent plumbing problems in the building- inconsistent water pressure and water pouring from the ceiling of the parking garage, etc.
* for a "pet freindly" apartment building...they don't provide a place to take your dog to "relieve" itself.

Everyone uses a strip of grass between a sidewalk and a parking lot off Park Avenue while cars and pedestrians pass by.


* the fire alarm...lets just say that if there was really a fire that unfortunately everyone would probably die because no one would take it seriously.

We stay for the location, etc.

only.

If you want a great location and a cool building but you don't really care about the high price, management, service and upkeep of common areas, then you might like it.
