Misleading and Unhelpful management

The management is lazy, plainly put.

The management doesn't comply to their own set office hours. retrieving a package that's left in the office is near impossible if you work a normal day.

The management is paid on "move-in commission"
This means, the more people that move out, the more people that can move in, the more the management gets paid

I noticed a man trying to break into cars in the parking lot and called the manager, she told me it was after business hours and she wasn't able to help. The following week, there were signs posted noting that staff are not to be contacted after business hours.

Our 12mo lease cost nearly $700 for 720sq ft, 1 bedroom/bath, 1 dog, and 2 parking spaces. When our lease runs out, our rent will be increased to slightly over $1000.

Qwest internet is not available.

It costs $100 for the apartment to allow you to have a satellite dish installed on the roof.

They require you to pick up dog droppings, fair enough, but placed the receptacle away from any sidewalks, beyond a "barrier", and in the middle of a small hill where the water from the roof drains to. This makes it a suicidal trip to use the designated receptical in the winter.

When moving in the management claimed that this complex is somewhere people come to live for several years, though i've met many people who are breaking their lease because they hate it so much.

Hot water is hard to come by. With 2 people we run out of hot water every morning.

Utilities are expensive, even though we never have the heat turned on. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC

I am the manager of Prescott Apartments and have been here for over 4 years. We have the same great service we have always offered. We offer 24 hour emergency maintenance, common area housekeeping 5 days a week, courtesy patrol, package delivery (upon request) and pest control services (upon request). Our office hours are the same each day; unfortunately, there are times that we must lock up to tour potential residents. We have a 24 hour answering service which allows us to extend our customer service beyond our regular office hours. I???ll take this opportunity to address some of the issues raised by this previous resident. If a resident witnesses a car being broken into I would hope they would call 911. Anytime a crime is being committed we strongly encourage residents to call 911 as time is of the essence. In regards to the doggie station being located on an ice covered hill, that issue was remedied this spring when we relocated the station. Our one bedroom apartment homes lease between $650. - $800., depending on the size and location, so a rental increase may have been required. There is a refundable security deposit of $100. for satellite dishes that are located on our roof . This deposit is only required when the satellite provider is unable to pick up a signal from the balcony/patio. Feel free to check out our website at www.liveatprescott.com or stop by the leasing office for a tour. We can always address any questions you may have regarding our property.
