We lived here for around 1.5-2 years and initially it was a breeze to get moved in, which is exactly what they want to happen. To be honest I work a lot, and my roommate does also so we weren't around using the facilities to notice too much wrong with them, however the experiences we have had with the office and their attitude was outrageous.

Upon trying to leave the FIRST time they told us that we were required to give a 60 day notice of moving out, which since we didn't they were going to shaft us market rent for the last two months which raised our rent around $400 per month!

Once we finally were able to move out, we dropped off our keys, gate openers, etc we signed our forms and everything seemed to be taken care of, they said any deposit we would get could be mailed to us. Come to find out on top of our $300 security deposit, and another $300 pet deposit (for a tiny dog!) they charged us an additional $700 extra due to BOGUS cleaning fees. That means they were able to come up with over $1000 dollars worth of fees to try to shaft us with. Besides the fact that the apartment was completely empty, dusted, vacuumed, swept, hell, we even rented a carpet cleaner to try to get some of our security deposit back and they still shafted us!

We have consulted with legal representation as well as the better business bureu and will try to fight this as much as possible, but be forewarned!! Even if you leave the apartment impeccable, be prepared to deal with the unethical, rude and disturbing behavior of the office staff.

I had the same thing happen to me. I have contacted the BBB and they are currently working on it. They have an unsasitfactory rating on the BBB (I wish I had checke dthta before I ever moved in!)
