I'm writing this for my mother who lives at these apartments... well used to live here. I know this website is for venting and not everything on here is true. But u do have to say from a daughter's perspective, I'm happy to move my mom from here and get her where the majority of the people who live in the apartments are not so low class. I mean her neighbor in the building near her almost got shot by the guy living above them when he shot a hole in the floor, and the Manager didn't even kick him out for doing that... I guess thats normal behavior for a Carmel property. Just beware this place is not some where to raise a family or feel safe about you parents living there...

Unfortunately, a story like this is all too common in so many apartment communities. I have found that just like my previous apartment the management company only moves fast to evict someone if they don't pay the rent. It's all about money. My next door neighbor didn't pay her rent and was kicked out in about two and a half weeks. In my previous apartment I had a neighbor who wouldn't answer the door to the police (what an idiot, did he think they'd go away?) and the police had to break in his door with a battering ram. So he just pays the management company for repairs and they don't kick him out. It's all about money. I would be willing to bet that the lowlife who shot into the floor of his apartment was all too willing to pay for repairs.
