Pretty nice place

We lived at Remington place for a year. I would recommend Remington place to someone who is used to living in a big city in a tower with lots of noise.
However, for someone who is used to quieter, homier living, it wasn't for me.
On a positive note: The staff and management were very very nice. They fixed things promptly when we asked.
The apartment was clean and spacious, although a little oddly laid out and hard to decorate. The kitchen was very small.
The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub were very nice.
Unfortunately, I found living in the South Tower to be extremely noisy, as it is right next to Hampden avenue. Between apartments though, I didn't hear much noise. We never knew our neighbors were there at all.
The only other problem I had, was that Remington place was very expensive. The rent was reasonable, but i didn't appreciate having to pay for EVERYONE else's gas bill especially when we turned on our heater maybe twice while we lived there, and didn't use the air conditioning at all.
Other than that, if you are a true urbanite you will enjoy living at Remington place, but for a country bumpkin like myself it's a little too noisy and too much like an office building.
