Good people, decent complex

The Renaissance is a reasonable complex to live in for the area.
Though crime is not a major issue, it has had some problems throughout the years with crime but the management addresses it quickly and gives out warnings. For example, there was a problem with people stealing from apartments when people were moving in/out and management sent fliers to everybody's door detailing the problem. They also had breakin problems but mostly it seems like youthful crime not a serious criminal element.
The construction is fair. The carpets are extremely cheap and poorly installed and the bathrooms have had lots of problems from rushed installation and the parking planning is very poor for certain buildings.
The maintenance staff has been great. Very responsive and reliable. Very accomodating to special needs. Definitely one of the shining points in the complex.
Prices are a bit high in general.
