I lived here for a year starting in 2004. I enjoyed the experience for the most part with the view of the pool, tennis court, and water fountain. I understood the surrounding area wasn't the best but thought living in a gated community would "shelter" out any problems there might be. The first month we lived there my roommate's car was stolen along with a number of other cars in the community (told to us by the office staff). Keep a watch out!

I have to disagree with you that the surrounding area is not the best. I live just down the road and I think that entire area is pretty nice. I don't know where you get the idea that it is not a nice area. Crime happens in nice places to.
