BAD IDEA From: badplace1@yahoo.com Date posted: 3/3/2004 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004   Just like the previous reviews...you see a great entrance into the leasing office and a nice model. However when you move in it blows your mind. I have way to many things to list. Every other feview is along the same experiences we have had. The people who man the office are rude and they lie to save themselvesand/or put the blame on someone else (including Maintenance). We are moving (THANK GOD!) soon so I requested a copy of my move in check list. Of course they could not find it. Our carpet and walls were flithy when we moved in and MUCH more was wrong. Our cars have been vandalized in the ILL-LIT parking lot 3 times costing us a total of $800.00 in less than 3 months. When the issue of lighting in the parking in brought up Urban Properties tries to tell you that "studies show that very well lit parking lots = more crine". PLEASE PLEASE think twice no matter what they offer you. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!
