Worst Experience of My Life

I came in from Michigan and had to rent sight unseen. We had no hot water for 2 months until I threatend to get an attorney. The buildings were flooding on a regular basis. After the blizzard we waited well over a month before they would even shovel sidewalks let alone the parking lots. Then they sent a collection office to our door and told my 13 year old that we owed money and need to pay. 1st of all we never owed any balance, and 2nd how unproffessional to tell something like that to a child. When I confronted the office they said "sorry that was a mistake". I have seen the other posts about the "quality" of tenant in there in they were right. Some poor suckers like me got stuck there but hit the pavement as soon as possible. I think they figured no one question that they may have had a balance and just pay it without asking for proof. The 1st 4 months I lived there we weren't even listed in the system as renters (that is until a potential landlord called them for a reference). I could go on and on but the bottom line is that I think they are not only doing some things illegally they most assuradley are unethical. Now 7 months after I have moved out they sent me to a collections company saying I owe a balance again.
