I have lived here for 7 months w/ my daughter. I signed a 9 month lease and I don't really have the money to move again and moved in here because it was in my price range. I was ready to move back with my mom because I didnt know that we would have to deal with leaks- from the floor and the roof!! Oh yeah, make sure the dishwasher works when you move in. I complained for months with no body even caring but I think that they got their act together because now they fixed everything and they have started painting the outside of the place. it looks better but I dont like the color of the front door. its a little noisy with everything going on but it looks better. They have a whole bunch of people running all over here all the time. I don't know. It still isnt great but it is better except for the noise-atleast its only construction noise and not some people fighting. When I went to pay my rent the girls at the office said they would be fixing it up for awhile. I work nearby and dont get home until 830 and have seen security guards around lately. I think because they want to get bad people out. Because it's better here than it was, I'm glad the owners finally decided to fix it up. I like my apartment because it's a townhouse and its pretty big. hopefully with all that is happening they wont raise my rent now.

Hello there... I used to live there from aug. 07- Feb. 08. So, I can completely simplify with you. I HATED every minute of it. Roaches, no hot water for weeks, days with no water! Neighbors fighting, and partying late when i have to wake up at 520am... I had a one bed. townhouse and i loved the layout. If only it didn't have asbestos and was updated. I went there yesterday, to check out the improvements and it's cool, I mean finally!!!!! Too bad they're not doing too many interior upgrades like gutting them out. Because those roaches will still be there if they don't :(. Oh well, I moved to a nice neighborhood with new everything, and an idividual water heater and furnace; now i won't pay for stuff that i don't use. Plus, no roaches!!! And all for the same price:$650. So, I hope things really turn around there for you and everyone else that suffered there with no help from the health dept. One bad side is that they said they would raise the rent. Her exact words were " Oh yeah!" so at least you're in a lease and they can't raise it on you- it's obviously against the law... But since you've survived Fear Factor @ Stonecreek, you now know what to look for in a new place. I really don't think they'll raise the rent too much since they aren't doing interior upgrades, but if they do you can always find a WAY better place to live; maybe not a townhouse, but a nice apartment. Unfortunately the townhomes where I live Are a lot... I mean in feb. A one Bed. townhouse was goin for 795... but they are freakin awesome!!!! If I could afford it I would... BTW ( by the way) I live in Winrdige Apts. and townhomes. Nice people... if something isn't fixed within a couple days the deduct the days off your rent until it's fixed. Unfortunatley they allow dogs and they love to leave them outside at night or day and they love to bark- well, it's been better since i called about it. Ok, well, GodBless and hope everything works out for ya'. I know I don't know ya' but we at least share something in common, too bad it wsn't something great! LOL. take care. Oh yeah, use this site to find a good place and bring up the things that concern you and address them to the staff and see how they handle it. Hopefully, they'll pass that law about slumlords and make them fix up their properties or you can break your lease. why they didn't have that B4, IDK. Ok, Buh-bye:)
