I am a current resident who can't wait for my lease to end. Overall, I would say the experience has been at best average. Their is a high turnover of staff, which would account for their poor rating. Many of the office staff come in with their big ego's thinking they know everything and you as a tenant must take their word/treatment as gold. I have to say to their defense the staff is usually very young and you really can't tell by they way they dress if they should work for the complex or Shotgun Willy's. They do not know how to negotiate contracts. For example the carpet cleaning service. They can't give you a specific time they will come clean but yet they have an exclusive contract to clean every apartment home within the complex. I am convinced that with the right negotiators they could get better service. When you talk to the staff about rent renewals they can't give a straight answer as to why someone off the streets can get cheaper rent than someone who decides to renew their lease and has been in the complex a few years. On the good side the maintenance staff is superb. Always on time or will call if delayed, fixes everything or has no problems replacing things that are broken. The apartments although overpriced are sectioned really nice, thus giving you ample space. Great neighborhood atmosphere. In conclusion, if you rent stay only one year. You can get a better deal if you move after that and finally don't be shocked if you happen to see the manager swinging from a few poles in Glendale. :-)
