I have lived at this property for almost 2 years and with any place, there are pros and cons - here are mine:

PROS
1. the staff are very nice - especially akira
2. it's one of the nicer complexes in the area
3. the main bedroom and closet is pretty large
4. they painted 2 accent walls for free
5. they always come that day (or the very next if we call late) to fix things
6. i always have a place to park
7. even though they did not evict our annoyingly loud neighbor with his barking dog, they did not renew his lease.
8. when our fridge was on the fritz and had to be looked at 2 times, they replaced it with a new one.
9. both of our cars have never been broken into or messed up
10. i feel safe walking to my car by myself at night
11. the new clubhouse and fitness center is nice
12. we didn't get in trouble for having an illegal grill!
14. other than one or two very isolated incidents, there has never been trouble here
15. I have never had a problem with hot water - and at times have taken a half hour shower.
16. awesome DVD collection to borrow - and i have never been charged a late fee

CONS:
1. there are "nicer" places to live - in regards to types of tenants and uniqueness
2. there were absolutely confirmed gang members living in buildings 1 and 14 - confirmed by both their tattoos, security, police, neighbors and the drive by shooting! but in passing, the "gang members" were totally fine as neighbors.
3. the pool is just OK, and is frequently closed. i was told by security it is because there is a vandal who puts soap and other crap in it on a weekly basis
4. the security is a joke - when you have a complaint about something or someone you are directed to someone in florida who then calls a contracted security car who may drive over - but the issue is never resolved
5. super high turnover - in our 12 door side of the building, only 2 of those (us being one) have stayed here for a year or more - so you never know who might be moving in
6. very drafty fireplace and balcony doors - VERY drafty
7. the printer in the business center is busted 20% of the time and the girls that work there never know how to fix it
8. you can hear the neighbors if they stomp, slam doors or have crazy sex - but for goodness sake - you live in an APARTMENT BUILDING where you are sharing walls!

overall, this place ain't so bad. it's not super new and super nice, but at the same time it's not a disaster.
