this place is a great just-out-of-college dorm for young adults.
it's quite noisy...if it's not construction; then it's slamming doors, loud people in hallways late at night, endless traffic and sirens (off of 20th street), and i can't forget to mention the clutter of homeless people that litter benedict fountain park when the weather is nice. they will plug in their stereo and blast it for hours.
the maintenence staff is wonderful and friendly!
don't plan on getting any of your deposit back. they will find a way for you to pay for the replacement of something......trust me, this pleasantville-wannabe apartment community is a natzi rental bootcamp for naive denver newbies.
renter beware!!

I am looking at a Post property in another city for my daugher to ren and have been reading all Post reviews I could find in any city. I had to respond to the negative reviews on this building. I am a former resident of Denver from 1977 to 1991 and was a Capital Hill renter. There were certain rules of thumb about where you would want to live downtown: not on a one way street, esp. 6th, 13th or 14th, not above Colfax or east of Colorado Blvd, nor west of Broadway. With the influx of population since 1990, I guess those rules have gone out the window and the "desirable" area of downtown living seems to have expanded. I used to live on Pennsylvania, actually 10th Ave between Penn and Pearl. A great location, a great building, but condos. I would NEVER have considered living up by 20th street. 1950 Penn used to be St. Lukes hospital, I actually took my daughter to the emergency room there in the late 80's. I can't imagine living in that area. I guess what I am trying to say is there were tons of desirable apartments on Capital Hill well south of 19th street back then and there still are. I know because I go back to visit at least twice a year. Try not to be blinded by the beauty of a building/renovation and look a little more closely at the neighborhood you are going to. Denver is a great city with great neighborhoods, get out and walk around one before you rent. Go to Cheesman park and start walking west and fan out from there. I am sure you would find something great to rent!
