Post Uptown Square is a joke, do not live there. I liked it at first, but appearances are deceiving. Security is non-existent: I had a window broken, a package stolen, an attempted break-in and a few months later a successful break-in (I lost over $1,000 of personal items). It took over three weeks to get the staff to fix the door that was broken in the robbery. In fact, a maintenance employee actually told me that the standard screws Post uses in the door frames are too short, using longer ones would be more secure. The office staff will be pleasant to your face, but a profit is their only priority. The leases are iron-clad, there is even a clause that says Post is not responsible for anything, even if it results from gross misconduct on their part. They refused to do a walk-though with me when I moved out, so instead I took pictures. The pictures came in handy when they tried to charge me for a BS claim of carpet replacement, a claim that was dropped when I showed them proof that there had been no damage to the carpet. Post is a huge apartment management company and while I didn't mind dealing with the corporate people, the office staff at Post Uptown Square are simply awful. Don't be swayed by the convenient location and grounds, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
