I've been reading some of the reviews on here & luckily, my experiences haven't been nearly as bad. I've lived at Uptown Square for about 9 mos. & I like it here. My apartment is really quiet. I work nights & sleep during the day, & I'm usually not awakened by noise. I think the noise issue probably depends on where your apartment is located. On the weekends there are always at least 50 people out by the pool so I imagine that if your apartment were near the pool it would be really noisy.

I usually don't have problems finding parking in the garage, though if you get home after about 10pm you may have to park up on the roof. My only complaint is that people tear around the garage way too fast. I've almost been run into a few times.

The office staff isn't the friendliest in the world, but I've lived in alot of apartments & have never experienced a great office staff. When you go in the office you kind of feel like you're intruding & bothering them. And if you have a package in the package room & they have to walk you over there they make you feel like it is a huge inconvenience. I wish they'd cut down on the snobbiness but I haven't had to deal with them much.

My apartment is really small but the location is great. You can walk downtown or over to Uptown Tavern. Lots of cool places nearby to walk to. I think I'll get tired of the small apartment soon, but right now I like being close to downtown & I can only afford a studio. Overall, Uptown Square is nothing fantastic, but it's not terrible either.
