"Uptown Square is nothing that the management claims it to be. We lived in a top floor "industrial" loft and from the start we had a leak in our ceiling (no rain so where was it coming from') When they finally sent out maintenance they claimed it was not their problem it was the roof contractors...Never heard from them again. When a rain storm did come the door to our balcony leaked and so did all the windows. We took pics of the water but when maintenance came they said there was no problem with the areas!!

The "safe" key pad entries are always broken or left propped open so that anyone can walk right in. I have seen cars that have been broken into in our "secure" garage. Uptown claims an on-site security guard but when we needed the assistance of this so called guard we were told by the answering service that there was indeed no such person.

The management is very rude and they never answer their phones or reply to any messages. When we were looking at the apt they were all about customer service but that dried up with the singing of the lease. Another big issue is that the "newly installed" elevator breaks down AT LEAST once a week if not more and at times is shut down for 3 or more hours so they can mop it (wow it takes 3 hours to mop one very small space')

There is a roof top deck/patio area and on the weekend it is a mad house up there. We lived on the floor below it and all you could hear was blasting music, screaming, and worst of all they continuously throw their trash over the edge onto the balcony's below. We would awaken to trash and cig butts all over the place. The pool is so crowded with drunks from 10am-3am that normal people can not use it and the noise can be heard from down the block! Management claims that both the roof top patio and the pool are closed at 10pm but that is a bold faced lie. Neither are ever closed and no one even cares or responds to noise complaints.

We moved before our lease was up. We were only there for 6 months and truthfully this is the worst most over priced place I have ever encountered. Move here if you want to be poor, sleepless, in danger, and unhappy. Also do not let the beautiful park across the street lure you in because it is continuously filled with homeless people and not a safe place for anyone.
