Uptown Village

I agree with several others here about the staff at Uptown Village. Half of them are decent to work with and actually have some customer service skills, but those that do not really overshadow the others. Jacob (leasing agent) has some serious issues dealing with renters and is definitely the worst of the management/leasing employees. He treats you as if he can't believe you're bothering him with having to do anything and that it's such an inconvience. At times he's told me that what I'm requesting is out of line and there's nothing he can do about it when I had just spoken to another leasing agent who told me it wouldn't be a problem at all. Anytime I've called the office to ask a question or request anything I always ask to speak to someone else if Jacob answers. He needs a serious attitude adjustment and needs to stop feeling that he is so above everyone else.
As for the apartments, grounds, etc.....everything is decent while nothing is above average. Overall it's a decent place to live as long as you don't have to deal with the office personnel, but the only reason I'm planning on staying once my lease is up is that I just really don't want to move my stuff again.
One other note, the parking spaces are ridiculously narrow...and I drive a compact car.
