Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
1. Black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom which they painted over to rectify.
2. VERY OLD appliances
3. kitchen cupboard hardware is worn and cupboards do not stay closed.
4. using hairdryers pops a fuse every week or so, which probably means further electrical problems
5. sinks do not drain, plumbing problems
6. very little storage space
7. maintenance does not clean up after they fix problems
8. kitchen often smells like sewage backup
9. rude staff
The rent is cheap enough, but for $100 more a month per person (just over $3 more a day), there are way nicer places available which will include a washer/dryer in the apartment and more space. Don't make the mistake of saving, it's not worth it.
