I've lived at the Uptown Village for a little over a year and have mixed feelings about my experience. The location is AWESOME! I loved being so close to the 16th Street Mall. The staff turnover is extremely high....it seems they hire one incompetent person after the other. In fact, the other day, I heard them counting down out loud the seconds before they could close up shop and go home. (Extremely unprofessional in my opinion). The parking garage construction was a nightmare. Security is a joke. Any Joe Schmoe can walk in. Worst of all, weeks after I moved in, I had my bike LOCKED up in front of the building on the bike rack and it was stolen. When I asked security about it, they said...."yeah....that's why we tell people to keep their bikes in their apartments." Just be aware of what you're getting yourself into...
