I wish I didn't live here!! And I hope you read this.

This was a ---- show from the get go type situation. Sure they have a big indoor pool (dirty and the outdoor pool never opened), "new" clothes washers and dryers (my ceiling is currently dripping from the flooded laundry room above me), and a good sized studio, but that does not make up for the amount of problems I have had here. I have barely been here five months and these aren't even all of my complaints:

*I didn't hear back from the leasing office until two days before my move-in date whether I got the place or not.
*Upon moving in the move-in special was "your first month's rent for free", which they have been offering since then, but it was technically $500 towards your first month's rent. My rent was $425 so the lady told me the other $75 would roll over into the second month. When it came time to pay my second month's rent there was all new staff in the office (as there is AGAIN) and they informed me it didn't work like that.
*THE DAY I MOVED IN there was a huge lump of lint on my patio from the laundry room, a plate of glass on my back door was broken and covered in masking tape, and my electricity didn't work. I had to sleep in a sleeping bag in my empty, old place that night. They told me I could keep the sheet where you fill out everything that's wrong until my electricity came on. By the next day the electricity STILL wasn't on, but I turned in my sheet before the office closed anyways because they told me if there were more problems I could just come let them know.
*The next day, my electricity came on and there was a light out. When I reported it to the office, a new face of course, they told me if it was just a regular light bulb it's my responsibility to replace it, even though it was off when I moved in''
*WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK I realized only the AC works, no heat, and I can't actually adjust the temperature. I can just turn it on or off. I noticed drip marks on the wall below my counter like something had spilled and never been cleaned. When I cleaned the counter in my vanity the paper towel was brown. The faucet in my tub shot off the very first time I used it and hit me in the leg. It wouldn't stay on unless I had the water at it's hottest, because otherwise the water pressure pushed it off. I called that in twice and ended up having my uncle fix it weeks later. I spent those weeks taking my shower from the floor of my shower using the water that sprayed straight out of a little pipe.
*My back door only completely shuts if I slam it, and there's a good 1/2 inch gap at the bottom...but only on one side of course.
*My a/c vent has somehow leaked and drenched my carpet twice.
*I have hardly an cupboard space and maybe five outlets in the entire place.
*I have found the weirdest looking bugs, not to mention HUGE spiders.
*The place smells. They told me when I moved in not to pick at the ceiling...something about amonia. Great!
*I've never lived in a place that got so dusty so fast.
*They did not steam clean the carpets before I moved in.
*A towel rack, two of ten hanging blinds, and a piece from the toilet have come apart as if they weren't connected in the first place, but simply set in place so it appears normal.
*The only good thing about living here is it's pretty quiet. My neighbors are pretty chill. And it's a great location, right off I25. But these things hardly make up for all the disgust and discomfort I experience living here.

Basically, I can't stand this place. It's too bad because I have it set up nicely and it has the potential to be a decent place. The staff are generally nice, but I don't know who the ---- is actually in charge around here. When a real problem arises it's very hard to get someone to care or come fix it. Everything is falling apart and it's very clear they half-assed their "renovations". I can't believe I had six months left to live here. I hope this saves at least one person from dealing with the ----. You should be able to be comfortable in your own home.
