I've lived here since July and was initially a bit scared off by the previous posts on this site. But so far, I haven't had any major problems. Maintenance responds immediately. The staff is very helpful and shows concern. These are older apartments and the insulation isn't great -- hence, you WILL hear people above you walking and people below you talking. But such is apartment life -- get used to it or buy a house. I politely asked my upstairs neighbor to walk a bit softer after 11 p.m., and he appears to have complied. People are very nice here.

There are a few "bad seeds" -- my 11-year-old car was "broken into" -- the locks were popped with a slim jim -- one night, but I don't leave anything of value in there and nothing was stolen. You're going to find dumb teenagers doing stuff like that at almost every apartment complex.

I see the patrolman in the golf cart all the time at night and while there may have been some safety issues in the past, I really feel like the staff is making a huge effort to mitigate those. I'm a single female in my 20s and I feel fairly comfortable here.
