So first of all I want to say that this was my first apartment experience. So you can base my experiences of of me previously living in a dorm. I didnt have any serious problems living here and Ive lived here for a year and 8 months. I saw a few complaints about parking and I can say Ive never had a problem with parking. I may not have been able to park directly in front of my apt if I came home late at night but that extra 20 feet never hurt anyone. Most of the time I was able to see my car from my apartment. The security guard was always zooming around at night and is super friendly. I always felt safe coming home by myself at night. The guard even ran across the street and helped me pick up my mail when I dropped it. Noise can be a problem. You can hear foot steps and sometimes it seemed like there was a wrestling tournament going on upstairs. Mostly the noise was during the day. Sometimes I could hear the neighbors arguing late into the night. The grounds were always nice. They redid the parking lots and flowers and shrubs while I was here. Things are freshly painted. The pool never seems crowded and it was always clean. Garbage doesnt overflow unless theres a mattress on the side of the dumpster. And if you dont want you dog getting into the trash dont let them off their leashes and that wont happen. Staff were mostly helpful. David was great. He always had paperwork down in a timely fashion and was friendly no matter where he was. He even lent us an extra key when we locked ourselves out of the apartment. Laundry facilities are pretty nice. They are usually empty and have only all been full a few times the whole time ive been here. Ive never had anyone removed my clothes from a washer or dryer or had anything stolen and I never sit and wait for them. For the most part people are friendly here. I have neighbors that always say hi or people who hold the doors open for you. This isnt the greatest part of town so you have to expect some "not so nice people". The one experience I remember with bad neighbors was a year ago. One night the police knocked on my door and asked me if I knew my neighbors and if I had heard any loud noises over there. I had just gotten home so I didnt know what was going on but apparently there were drugs involved and the next day they were evicted by the staff. So it was taken care of right away. Sorry this is so long I just feel that the only people who write on here are people with bad experiences which you can get at any apartment so I wanted to let everyone know that this is a pretty good place.
