I have been living in these apartments since my daughter was two and now she is six. I have done nothing but expect a safe, clean and respectful place to raise my family!! I started out in the 2350 building and had constant problems. For starters they never answered their work orders, so one night I was taking a shower and the ceiling started caving in on me. It was because the lady above me had put in a workorder to have her tub recocked and they never did it. So when she was cleaning her bathroom floor the water went down the walls and into my apt. Which took them four six months to repair. They started out by poking a hole in it so that it could drain, then three weeks later they came and cut a huge two by two hole above my bath so that it could dry out, then a month later (Mind you SEVERAL CALLS AND STOPS IN TO MAKE REQUEST!!)they came and said it was still wet and put a board over the hole so we didn't have to look at all the critters inside the walls...Then another month later it took them a total of five weeks to repair the whole three different times!!
Ok me and my daughter don't get sick that much and for the next three to six months we were sick EVERY month if not twice a month.....come to find out I cut holes in several of the walls in my apt and found ALL of the walls were covered in MOLD!! Which for tyhose of you that don't know can and will kill you if you live in it..After calling them for two months (having the matenance asst manager came and tell me it wasn't mold) with no help I called the health department. Who called them and gave them one month to fix the problem or they would be out. I then had the matenance manager (Bob) show up and look at it and confirm that it was mold, "he went to school for this." So they moved me into my now home 7580 Building. Oh and by the way never properly clean the mold, because in order to properly do the job they would have had to move every tendent out of that building and bleach into EVER apt walls because the mold went all the way up to the top floor!! They had my old apt rented out within a month!! Then I bring you to my current apt...When I moved in they supposidly gutted this out and redid the whole thing from scratch. Well my first night all the dorrs were falling off there hinges, both of my sinks were leaking water on the brand new cubbards, I sat on the toilet to go to the bathromm and the WHOLE thing nearly feel over (which the oncall matenance man told me because they never screwed it down and used rusty clamps) I called the on call for these issues was told to put a towel under the sinks and they would get to it when they had time the next day and would be out that night to fix the toilet, I went into the kitchen to do dishes while I waited for them to come and I opened my dishwasher pulled the drawers open and then WHOLE dishwasher fell to the floor it was NEVER screwed into the wall or what ever they are supposed to do!! It took them about two months to fix all of these issues. Then about a month later I started calling them on my dishwasher leaving gravel on my dishes after it washed, they still to this day say it is fine and to just run it empty once and it will be fine, this has NEVER worked. Then about three months after that problem my daughters dad called me into the kitchem and the sink was full to the brim with ---- (unsure of what it was) and water, I called it in to afterhours matenance by the time they came the water had completly overflwed into my cabnets and kitchem drawers into the living room carpet. They came out said they would have to call a drain place to snake the drains. An hour an a half later we cleaned up the water everwhere and they came and snaked the neibors drains but not mine. Then the next day I was getting my cloths from the clothset and my closet floor was sopping wet, then I look in the living room and the whole floor under my bigscreen TV throughout my WHOLE living room was sopping wet, I called them again and the man that came stated because they didn't snake my drains mine backed up!! So then it took them a week to come dry and clean my carpets, all they did that night was snake my drains and bring a fan!!

I also have had several problems with the storage and laundry areas....There was a leak from somewhere and they tore up the carpet and left the boards WITH NAILS STICKING OUT OF THEM in the hall and mold growing up the walls. My daughter stepped on these several times. When I threated to call the Health department AGAIN they took them out and painted over the mold on the walls and put locks on the storage units that had mold through out them. They never can keep locks on the laudry room windows because of the people that don't know how to watch their kids, and their kids break the windows and fill the room with rocks!!


We had parked my daughter dad's van in the parking lot and with in two months someone had took the front bumper, license plate and head lights off of it. It is just a coensidence that one of their employees had a van that was the same year, make and modle and was missing these items. Then a week after they were takin off my van her and her husband went to mexico for vacation in that van and sold it. The same employees son has been reported to the Social services because he like to sexual molest the little girls in the apts, including her own daughter!!

When I renewed my lease this last year they NEVER gave me a copy of it like they said they would. I have requested at least five times that they give me one and I eather don't get it or am told that I can't have it..Then they have the nerve to put a notice on my door that I have to pay $308.90 plus $50 late fee for rent because my lease was up I guess. They never informed me last month that my lease was going to be up, and I turned in my rent this month on time like usual so they can't change me a late fee!! Then management and office staff have been nothing but rude, disrespectful, liers just over ASSES!!!!

Oh and one last thing, I tried for two months to get my AC fixed and they would just tell me it had to be a steady 72 degrees outside before they could fix it. I spoke with all my neibors about theirs and they told me it was done months ago. They came in changed the filter switched a switch and it worked, NOW TELL ME WHY THEY COULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT EARLIER'!'!

Sorry this was long, but I highly suggest if you care anything about yours and your families well being that you DON'T move to these apartments!! Mond you my mom lived here ten years ago and it was NOTHING like it is now, it was nice and the management was nice.

Your response only confirms the fact that there are "crazy people out there"! I hope you don't live in my building!!! It's obvious that you have never owned your own home. because apartment living is a breeze! If you take care of your apartment, repair cost you nothing. If you own your own home, if you have a plumbing issue, you have to pay an outrageous price to have it fixed. If there is something wrong in your apartment, you just call in a work order and it gets fixed and it costs you nothing if you did not cause the problem. If you did it, then you pay for it - same as if you owned your own home. If you had ever owned your own home, you would know that things happen beyond your control - like leaks, etc. Sounds like you had a leak issue in your previous apartment and they transferred you to a new apartment. How nice is that - if you owned the apartment, you would have had to pay for the repair of the leak or sell your place and move out. Get real!!! I have lived here for a while and think the staff is friendly and efficient. If you are that unhappy here, why do you stay? Try and find a better rental rate elsewhere and a place that will keep up with your demands better than they do - Good Luck!

How obvious is it that the last response from murspar123 is from someone working at this complex? They totally ignored the very serious issues related to mold and that's exactly what I've observed in their staff. I had a relative live there for under a year and we're now in court over their exploitive behavior. I can confirm in every way that the maintenance staff at Woodhaven is incompetent and useless. Incompetent in that they cannot actually perform maintenance correctly. That's pretty much the definition after all. We'll be seeing them in court.

I do not like what you say. You say bad thing about people working here - what is proof? Do not hurt them. They are good people here. I have very good luck with order line. I think her name Lynn on the phone. You call in order to her, she gets it fixed for you. This is best place I have been and have been here 2 years. You are unhappy person. You need go away!

This is the real truth! Woodhaven SUCKS anyone who says good things about this place must be on the pipe(crackpipe). Seriously i cannot be more honest than i am being. I just wish i would of taken them to court first. Its honestly a waste of my time to write a book about everything wrong here. The others on this post must be forigners from a country with dirt floors if they think woodhaven is the place to be. Obv. they have nothing to compare woodhaven to.Especially when they say "this is best place ive been" who are you going to trust a forigner or an American!?? P.s you can kinda tell whos who by all the broken english lol

I feel very sorry for the woman who stayed here and had to deal with her various issues -- I truly do -- but after her 1st experience with mold, I would have been the hell out of there. Instead, we see how smart she is in her very first sentence: "I have been living in these apartments since my daughter was two and now she is six." Dumb, da, dumb, *dummmmmmb*. Jesus. How stupid does a person have to be to let the place that screwed them over 1 year screw them over for 5 years? (looks up in review) Oh. *That* stupid.
