My BOYFRIEND works there, and the horror stories he has told me about and the pictures he has emailed me while at work are atrocious!!!! (which, now we see, is the reason the pay was reasonably higher than other comparable positions).
Off the top of my head, to list what I think are a few of their major issues (which make this place a danger and health hazard to live in...)

The place is INFESTED with roaches and BEDBUGS!! INFESTED!! And the management does not mind it. But to be fair, I will tell you, the occupied apartments my husband has been in to make repairs, the people that live there are absolutely FILTHY human beings. It makes you lose faith in humankind. Toilets and tubs that have not been cleaned in literally YEARS. Filthy walls that are dripping with grime and grease. Carpets and floors that you would not set a child down on. Some of these people should be evicted for health code violations (and the management should also be fined for unlivable conditions- there are all sorts of healthcode violations!!). Also, the management OUGHT TO KNOW, when you have an infestation of parasites (bedbugs)and roaches, you cannot simply "spray" an apartment- the building needs to be TENTED, which is very costly. So the bugs merely scurry through the walls to the neighbor's. My husband has been warned about the possibility of bring bedbugs HOME, TO HIS OWN FAMILY!!!!! (Needless to say, no amount of salary could make up for that, and many of the staff are looking for new jobs).
Also, the tenants that reside there are largely immigrant populations, ---------- and -------, as well as --------. And while this is not a racial remark, the truth is most people that are immigrants will live in these types of conditions due to economic reasons. I am not calling them "filthy" just pointing out many times they do not know their rights as tenants, may be too afraid of immigration officials, or may tolerate these conditions (therefore encouraging the issues) because the conditions from which they have emmigrated from would seem far worse than what they live in now.

Also, HUGE amount of drugs, crime, etc. Recently (last 4 yrs) there have been a few murders as well.

And if your wondering why your apartment looks dated from the early 80's and all of your appliances are 20 years old and don't work, here's why- the supervisor refuses to allow ANY replacement of appliances, carpet, switch cover plates, plumbing, faucets, etc. Only jimmy-rigged repairs. They make all the staff "macguyver" everything. I have NEVER seen anything like it. Neither has my husband.
Insider info- DO NOT RENT HERE- IT IS A DANGEROUS PLACE TO LIVE AND YOU WILL BE LIVING IN SUBSTANDARD LIVING CONDITION FRAUT WITH HEALTH CODE ISSUES AND PARASITE INFESTATION!!!

(WE were considering moving here in the beginning of my boyfriends employment, so I was technically a "prospective" tenant)

First of all, I have lived here for many years. I have not had any issues with bugs. I know from experience, that if you report any maintenance issues that they are taken care of in a timely fashion. I know for a fact that the management treats entire buildings on a regular basis to be proactive in pest control. You are given instructions on how to prepare, which is to our own benefit. They offer you a place to go to, if you don't have to work or have a place to bring your children to for when they treat your building. Who ever you are, you are inconsistant with your comments - first you say this person is your boyfriend, then he is your husband. Then it is your boyfriend? Which is it? Also, what is a "fraut"?

Geez....I wonder if the management posted this response. It is overwhelmingly clear this place is a dump and has poor management.
