Going downhill quickly...

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2007
First of all, the place is well built, looks nice, and is well equipped. It's also VERY conveniently located. the only knock on the place is the staff.
I've been here for a few years and have seen the staff completely change 3-4 times. I don't believe I've seen anyone stick around more than 5-6 months.
Right now it's still relatively safe and the apartments are nice, BUT maintenance has fallen off dramatically and the staff might as well not even be there. Half the time I walk into the office there's nobody there. Either that or you'll see someone in the office chatting with their friends on a cell phone and ignoring you.
There are also the wonderful ways they waste money. They bought horrible looking fake plants for all of the hallways. They "re-painted" the garage as an excuse to tow abandoned cars. They lost all records of which tenants had storage spaces. They keep having social activities that alienate 95% of their tenants. They're also fond of making important announcements and dating fliers on a Friday, but not actually delivering them until the next week. They actually MAIL rent bills to people that live within their own complex. When packages arrived during the holidays they left them 5 feet from their entrance so anyone off the street can walk in and grab them. When packages arrive normally, They won't take the 20 seconds to call someone but will let them sit there for weeks instead. When someone rammed their garage gate, they hired an armed guard until people got fed up.
It's certainly not all bad. Again, the facilities are nice. I think the main problem is just the people running the place know they'll be gone in 5 months so they just throw money at anything in the most round about way possible. They're fond of using excuses like "re-painting" brand new garage in order to tow old cars. They claim they're changing air filters in order to enter suspicious apartments. It seems like the client le has fallen off a bit in recent months, too. I've seen more any more eviction notices and police knocking on doors in the last 6 months than the first 2 years.
3 years ago I thought this place was wonderful. Right now it's really tough to say where it'll be in a few years.
