I lived at Aspen Creek for the six months I was attending paramedic school at Swedish Medical Center. Although the building is simple with no luxuries like a pool or weight room, it is perfect for anyone attending paramedic school at Swedish. Although it has been 10 years since I lived there, the rent was very reasonable, and they were very accomodating about allowing a short, six-month lease. I had a second floor, corner unit that was very spacious and airy, with good natural lighting. The unit was immaculate with no pest problems that I recall. The manager, at that time, was very friendly and accomodating, and I wish I recall his name. A number of decent ethnic restaurants are within walking distance (good Greek, Chinese/Vietnamese, Mexican, and Italian), as well as a Safeway store. For anyone attending paramedic school at Swedish, it is a short, 4-block walk to class, and clinicals at SMC are literally across the street. At the time I was in school, the neighborhood felt very safe, the building secure, and the parking adequate. For a simple, economy apartment, I would give this place 2 thumbs up.
