Good Location, bad management

I moved here because its got a good location for my job and because they allow 2 pets. The apartment is OK, nothing great, but a decent place to live. The issue is and always has been the office staff. Friendly while trying to get you into an apartment but once you move in they just don't care. Maintenance staff has been pretty decent, no complaints. Office staff has been well below what you'd expect for what you pay.

I used to live there and couldn't agree more. At any of these places, the leasing staff is more than accomodating, but once you're in, they treat you like you don't exist and most always they seem to have an "attitude".

I agree completely! I used to live at Brookside and ended up buying a house because I couldn't stand the management anymore, it made me not want to deal with any office staff anymore. The floorplan I had was a great layout, however, we had nothing but problems and horrible service from the office. The second night living there our Washer overflowed, the maintence was great however the office gave us attitude. Yeah, it wasn't there fault but they could've done something about the situation instead of being unsympathetic. We had to complain for over a week straight after the second time it overflowed just to get a new washer. I don't think it is worth the money. It has a great location, good layouts however not worth the stress!

"If you don't like it - please move to Aurora", what kind of response is that? Why should a resident who is paying very good money for a service have to leave because a management company is less than stellar? I think the correct response would be to have the management staff move to Aurora, or anywhere else. Take a walk around the complex, see how many vacancies they have, and then wonder why? Because people will no longer accept management companies that have the attitude "If you don't like it, move to Aurora"...
