We moved in May of 2008 to these apartments. We have a couple of complaints, but some positives as well.
Complaints:
The cops are at the complex A LOT! I would way it is at least once a week that there is something requiring the police to be there. We asked the police shortly after moving in if we had made a bad choice. The police responded that most of the incidents are of a petty crime nature. We have witnessed two fist fights in the 7 months we have been there. Full out brawls. The trash gets a little full by the time trash day comes, however they have taken some measures to fix that. One tricky subject, the playground there is great. My kids love to play at it. However, I don't love to have my kids interact with the other kids playing at the park. There doesn't seem to be a single parent around watching the children. This is only sometimes. The kids in our building along with their parents are great. It seems that sections of the apartments complex are bad and some are good. I don't know how to measure that, but it appears to be that way.
Positives:
The inside/layout of the apartment is great. We are in a 3 bedroom that is appox. 1100 sq feet. Spacious. The noise has not been a problem in our building, we are on the top floor. Our neighbors are great.
Maintenance has been AMAZING! Every time we have needed anything they are quick and efficient. All we have had to do is call the office and one time it was literally 5 min and they were there to fix the problem.
We have ALWAYS gotten a close parking space and we have 2 cars.
Overall:
It is income restricted. Would we WANT to live somewhere else' Yes! Do we hate being here' NO!

Your what they call a snitch!! Its seems I would not wanna live in the same complex as you, I run the risk of you being all in my business. On another note I think no matter where you live, your gonna have people you don't agree with, whether it be how they watch their children or how they live in their residence. It cant be that bad, especially considering where the apartments are located. Give me a break!!! Thank God you moved out....

This complex needs major red flags set out!!! Our children are not safe with all the speeding of cars going through as well as the damn drug dealers moving in. What back ground checks? Ha! It's fill an apartment and collect money - this is NOT a good pleace when others choices are availb. Only reason most of us live here: Income based. The walls and floors are thin and you can hear everybody. The RENT A COP is a joke. The office fails to comply with any lease paperwork, your lease is never correct if you get one for months on months. The office staff change so often you don't get to know them except for the less than 24 notice you recieve on your door when they feel its convient to get inspections completed - they are alway late! They advertize pricing on all these rent web sites and charge much much more. The grounds are not kept, the trash overflows daily and blows all around. If you want things cleaned and picked up you have to do it yourself. People allow thier dogs poop all over in the grass areas, the complex does not clean up nor care to fine anybody. It's the same areas our children play in. If you want it clean, you have to do it yourself. The grounds keepers just mow over all the dog poop and trash. Oh, what a great sight!!! A lot of people become friends and tolerate the mess together - we have to make the commmunity- NOT ANY MANAGEMENT.

Am I a snitch...hell no, but who cares, unless you are one to watch - are you??? But I am a concerned parent but you obviously are not. If you consider me a snitch then you too better becareful..are you sure I am out??? Buildings 3, 5 and 17 are the worst. Drugs AND gangs are there in full force, but you already know that don't you.... Cops don't respond because management does not take them seriously/ Yes, it is all about money. If this were to be reported to HUD, Centennial East would lose their creditation/funding.. so....RenterRWe308 beware, you maybe next on the hit list!
PS - finish school and learn proper English - DUH!
