Courtney Downs is absolutely the worst place you can live, and it is all because of the worst staff ever with no customer care skills at all.
All they care about is getting their rent money each month, they could care less about the tenants. I paid my rent every month on time, but still, that is all they care about. I turned in my 30 day written notice stating that I wasn't renewing my lease, but I turned it in just a few days too late and they tried to charge me a whole months rent after my lease was up!
The place was brand new when I moved in, but the construction of the place does not seem as new as it should be. Seems like they just threw the place together to meet a deadline. The water is horrible, the hot water gives off a horrible sulfur smell that never went away. I contacted the office several times about it and they would always tell me that is Araphoe County Water and that it will go away soon, but it never did. They just tell you anything so that you'll stop calling them and so they don't have to deal with the problem.
Our dishwasher broke after only a few months of living there, it is supposed to be brand new. I contacted the office several times to let them know, put in at least 4 service requests and they did nothing. I ended up fixing it myself. Three weeks later the maintenence guy comes to the door saying he's here to fix the dishwasher. I laughed in his face and told him I fixed it myself cause you idiots took too long.
Also, the lighting in the stairwells of our building did not work for the first 6-7 months of living there. They worked, but would not turn on until at least 10pm, which is well after it is already dark outside. Twice I almost tripped and fell down the stairs because it was so dark. Again I called them all the time to get it fixed. Only after I told them that if I trip again and hurt myself, I'll file a lawsuit against them did they finally fix the lighting in the stairwells.
The only major problem that I have with Courtney Downs is their staff.
The only staff member there that is nice, knowledgable, and courteous is the leasing agent, Brianna. She should be promoted to manager and turn the place around!
I am so glad I'm getting out of Courtney Downs and I definitely would NOT recommend living here to anyone!
