I have lived in both good and bad apartments but my experience with courtney downs has been terrible! I would tell anybody even considering moving there to look elsewhere to live. Not only is it not very kid friendly, the staff is horrible and do not even understand the simple concepts of customer service. I have been threatened by one of the leasing managers and when I went to complain to the corporate manager I was told I was lying (although I have witnesses!). When I went to the manager (who no longer is there) I was treated in the same unprofessional matter that I have begun to expect from courtney downs. Someone should have gotten fired for this type of treatment but the fact that this person still has a job makes me believe this kind of treatment is acceptable at courtney downs. I can also assume that there are no corporate policies about management dating tenants or using these relationships to create biased opinions. If you have children or take care of children and move here be prepared to receive countless noise violations. To avoid this you you may not allow them to play or do anything remotly child-like.

Living there has been for me both emotional turmoil and a huge finacial hardship. I actually choose to move out and pay two rents than to live at courtney downs. It is that bad!!!My lease is up soon and I can't wait to put this whole horrible living experience behind me. I once lived in an apartment where my car was vandalized and I would walk to my car and find dirty diapers on the walkways and I would move back there in a second and pay twice as much than to live at courtney downs!! I wouldn't even suggest living here to my worst enemy, it is that bad.

I would also like to note that there is only one trash compacter and I am almost sure it only emptied about once a year! No in all seriosness it gets dis-gust-ing and there is only one site and often times you will need to load your trash into your car!'and drive the 200 yards or so to the compacter which is often times full and has trash surrounding it. There are also problems with the plumbing as the smell of sewer gases continually seep from my pipe when I turn on the water.

Courtney downs apartments obviously does not care about referrals or future buisness. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!
