Dove Valley

We had nothing but problems from beginning to end. From the inconsiderate and rude staff (although the maintenance staff has improved in the last year) to the disrepair of the apartments. Cracks in the walls and 2" gaps under the front doors are never fixed properly. Everything is a quick fix and NEVER followed up on.
The leasing office staff and corporate office staff are the primary reasons we decided to take our money elsewhere. They are extremely rude and have no regard for the well being or happiness of their residents.
Last March, after the major snowstorm, they didn't even begin removing snow until 2 days had passed. The roads were drivable, but we couldn't get out of the complex. The walkways did not get cleared, except the walk in front of the leasing office (how convenient). The snow was not cleared from around the fire hydrants, which is a good indication of how the management feels about the safety of their residents. When we called to complain we were told (lied to) that the maintenance people had been plowing and shovelling all day.... we were stuck at home and the truck was parked in front of the office ALL DAY AND NIGHT! The customer service is nonexistant

The apartments are also very noisy, you can hear everything your neighbours are doing and saying!

Also, with the rent prices dropping, there are many more college students and the community is no longer a desirable place for working adults to reside.

We will NEVER live in a Carmel Companies owned property again.
