Maintenance is nice enough, but will never actually fix things completly!

Rules about dogs are in effect, (Put your dogs on leashes, don't put them on the balcony, pick up after them when they are outside), but they don't inforce the rules. Two weeks ago, I saw the maintenance manager playing with two dogs that were just let out of an apartment to go to the bathroom without leashes. He didn't say a word to the owner about keeping them on a leash. The day before that incident, there was a dog attacked outside my front door because one of them wasn't on a leash!! The owner of the injured dog had to come over with bleach to clean up the blood in front of my door! Nothing was said by management about reminding people of the rules so that things like this don't happen again.

If you have small children that need naps during the day, don't even think about it! My daughter routinely gets awakened by our neighbors loud playing radio. When I call and complain, they say they won't do anything because the quiet hours aren't until 9:00pm. NOT a good excuse.

You can't use the dishwasher because of the water system. I have talked to about 20 other people that live here and they all say the same thing. So like to wash your dishes by hand if you move in! My dishwasher is used for storage of pots & pans!!

Walls, floors, & celings are THIN, THIN, THIN!! I hear everything my upstairs neighbors do, including their dog that barks from the time they get up at about 5:00 am until they leave at 7:00 am. My schedule has been changed to work with them instead of me sleeping to the hours I want. My husband occasionaly works nights as well, so when he comes home to sleep, he has to wear heavy duty ear plugs. Since I live downstairs by a walkway, I ALWAYS hear drunk college kids coming home at about 2:00am. They stay outside my window & make noise until they FINALLY get upstairs. You can't call & complain because by the time they send someone out here, the people are gone.

Overall, this is a horrible place to live. I just wish I could talk to people before they move in. There are always people moving out, so I know no one is referring people here. Plus I have never seen an apartment complex offer so many giveaways just to get people to move in. From 3 months free rent, a free gas card, and free southwest airlines tickets. I know it's a apartment and you will have your downfalls, but I have lived in 6 different apartment complex's throughout my life, and this one is by far the WORST and most expensive out of them all!!!

two things...it is an apartment, and you have to expect a large amount of noise. secondly, you should call the non-emergency (not 911) police number if people aren't responding soon enough. trust me, in arapahoe county they have plenty of time to help you.
