I hate this place. I lived here for three years and finally got a chance to buy a house. I turned in my 30 day notice 40 days before my lease ran out. Well, its turns out on page 5, paragraph 5 or 6, you need to turn in a sixty (60) day notice. I had to rent the apartment out for another month for full price of apartment ($1150) plus another $100 dollars for month to month lease. Soooo, I paid $1250 dollars for a month not to even live there, and had to pay my mortgage for that month too.

I would understand a little more if I was getting another apartment somewhere else, but you do not even know if you are able to get a house until at least 30 days before after all your mortgage and insurance applications and all that jazz goes through.

So, since I am paying for another month, I am using there trash service for all my trash at my house. Probably would use more services there but hate them with a passion,.

My mom all ways told me that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all, so a couple of nice things there are the new office with the workout center and computer room, and the nice maintanance people. They are a little slow getting to your request, but are knowledgeable people and really liked them.

Why didn't you read you lease before you sign it. That is a legal agreement and that is your own fault. So many people get bent out of shape because they don't take the time to know the rules. People always want exceptions and favors and when they don't get their way they feel the need to complain as if that is something that the management did to you.

60 days is excessive. There is really no reason to go beyond 30 days. That gives all parties involved ample time to prepare for the move/vacancy. The author is right.
