I had a problem where the management had hired contracters to "power wash" the outside of the buildings and our balconies. Well, while this was happening, one of the contractors helped himself inside my apartment via my foolishly unlocked screen door. I saw him inside and positively freaked out and he hightailed it. Once I got dressed and got inside the two "kids" (they were very young) said they hadn't been in my apartment (never mind the mud he'd tracked in) so I complained to management, Amanda, who is a horrible mean person, and Dee, who is sweet but has no idea what she's doing. They promised they would speak with the boss of the contractors.

I thought it was over until a woman who lives on the floor above me told me the same thing happened to her. She went to management as well to file a complaint and mentioned casually that I had had the same problem. Amanda then told her, "No, no, no, nobody broke into that girl's apartment." Well, you can imagine that I was furious. I went to Amanda and demanded to know why I was being called a liar to other tenants. Amanda insisted she said nothing of the sort. I stated that since she had not given notice the community within 30 days of an illegal act occurring on the apartment grounds as per the lease agreement that the contract was null and void, however she stated that the lease was not null and that I would be fully punished were I to break the lease. I also called the boss of the two contractors directly the next day and he told me it was the first he'd heard of the issue, proving that Amanda had directly lied to me when she told me she'd spoken with him and told him the situation.

I could tell 100 more stories like that one about Amanda and what a miserable, horrible person and manager she truly is.

Another thing: my heater and air conditioning unit has been broken since I moved in in February (it is now December) and it still has not been fixed. The maintenance guys are awesome and very nice, but it's been such a nightmare. Also, my apartment was infested with these horrible little black beetle things (I've been told they're called "earwigs") and ants. The exterminator they hired did absolutely nothing, as the bugs appeared two days later in full force. I haven't experienced mold like others here have, but that would certainly be the icing on the cake.

Don't move in here. It may be a lot of space, but it's not worth it.

this is the damn truth live on the streets it is better and the up keep is 10 times higher there
