There has recently been a lot of tenant turnover in these apartments and the quality of renters has slightly increased. The complex has a number of families and is quiet for a community of its size.

There are a number of dog owners who do not pick up after their dogs. This creates problems on some parts of the grounds. There are areas where I stopped walking because there was so much waste on the ground. The office staff has yet to create a solution to this problem.

The office staff has had some turnover for the better. Some of the staff is utterly worthless, but there are at least 2 that know what they are doing.

Maintenance does an acceptable job. They are generally prompt if they are notified by a competent office person.

Many apartments have been updated. The interior of our 3 bedroom is acceptable. Some appliances are outdated and the windows and sliding glass door could be replaced with more energy efficient models. But utilities have been very reasonable.

The rent is currently reasonable, however, if rent were to go up I would find a complex with more ammenities and parking.

You can do worse than Peakview Place. I would not choose to make this a permanent home, but it performs the job adequately for a temporary basis. It has a great location and is close to nice neighborhoods, parks and walking trails. This helps make up for some of the bad marks above.

FYI, The neighborhood association that owns the nice trail is putting up a fence to keep out the Peakview tenants because of all the vandalism.
