DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

I have been here since September and this has been the absolute worse experience I've ever had! I moved out of Aurora, thinking I was moving out of the "ghetto" into a better area. I was wrong!! I will take my "ghetto" and all the hard working people in it over this place and the people! The area is fine, though it is ALWAYS windy , but these apartments are awful! The beautiful floorplan and the spacious living space is very deceiving.

The people who live here are far worse than the people who lived with me in the so-called "ghetto". There are tons of nasty, rude, kids running around, whose fat, lazy parents can't seem to supervise them or teach them how to behave properly at any rate. There is no security available, so parties can be as loud, and crazy as they want at all hours of the night. Plus drive around like they're in the Indy 500. (Good luck getting the understaffed Sheriffs department to come out to help!) The walls are so thin, I can hear my neighbor's bedroom activities, phone conversations, even snoring! I can tell you exactly what room my neighbor upstairs is in and what they are doing just by listening. I'm sure the neighbor below me thinks an elephant lives in my place, as any small step pounds the floor loudly. Mold grows easily on everything (RIP plants). The area is also all hard water and they don't tell you that when you move in, so dishes never look clean coming out the dishwasher, and clothes seem to wear out faster. There is still trash everywhere, and it doesn't help people don't realize the trash goes IN the dumpster not next to it.

Management has changed recently, and the new property manager is the worst! All she ever tells you is sorry about your issue and never does anything about it. Plus now there is only ONE maintenance person for the entire property! I'm glad I won't be here next winter killing myself on the snow and ice covered sidewalks, which I thought were bad before when we had 2-3 maintenance workers.

Oh and the mail carrier is retarded. I've gotten so many other people's mail, who have lived in my apartment or live in one of the apartments around me. I can't tell you how many times I've filled out the form saying who receives mail at my place. When I called the electric company the billing lady there even said they were having problems with mail in our apartment complex. What a big surprise!

Save yourself the grief and DO NOT LIVE HERE!! I cannot wait until my lease is up!!!

I used to live there. While I thought the complex was very quiet with nice people who kept to themselves and never bothered each other, I do share some of your other bad experiences. The water for one. Also, I was on the top floor, so hearing the neighbors never happened. However, after we'd been there over a year, a young girl moved in below us. She thought the noise my young toddler made going about the house as usual was so bothersome that she got angry and complained. The management tried to force us to move into a different apartment if we couldn't control the noise! And by the way, we lived quietly, were not the partying sort or anything, and no one had ever complained before. They were seriously about to force us out. Not to mention I was 8 months pregnant too! I was so pissed off that they would try to do that to a nice, quiet family. How is it our fault how the buildings were built? So we went above the management's head and wrote TrammelCrow. They put a stop to it and we got to stay. I also got written letters from all my other neighbors stating we were never noisy to help our case. Anyway, it was madness. So stressful. And the thing is, the sound of us walking around really could be heard below. The girl could not even study properly. She decided to switch apartments herself. So, to anyone looking to move here, beautiful floorplan??? I liked the community??? I don't know anything about the current management??? And get a top floor apartment, but be ready to defend your right to live there!
