I lived at Stratford station for almost two years. In that time, I did enjoy my apartment. There was not a great deal of room, but it had a great 'at home' feeling. The only down fall I experienced (besides my apartment burning) was the lack of involvement from the management office. My apartment was one of 12 that were directly affected by the fire. I was very fortunate to have known people in the complex, because I was staying with friends the night the fire occurred. The management team never bothered to let me know that my apartment was affected by the incident. When I was contacted by other residents and informed of the situation, the apartment complex would not release any information about my belongings. One resident even mentioned that they never heard any fire alarms go off; I would think that would be a huge safety issue they would have addressed. In addition, my apartment (with all my remaining belongings) was left unlocked and unsupervised for days. I really felt like they didn't care about their residents. I was only given a little over four days to move all my remaining belongings out of the apartment before the apartment contractors came in to tear down and rebuild the apartments.

For the two years I lived at Stratford Station, I was continually plagued with wasps. I could not be on my deck for long durations and would always find dead wasps in my kitchen. I am sure that others residents can vouch for this. I had mentioned it previously to the office, just in passing. I figured they would have noticed the wasps as well, considering my apartment was not even ten feet from the office building.
