The rent is way too high for what you're getting. I live in a one bedroom with an office and to renew the lease they want $1,400 a month. The management is poor. The people in the office have serious attitude problems. Once we were three days late paying rent and got an eviction notice. I can rarely find parking. They told us all the appliances were new, but it wasn't true. We needed to have things replaced, but instead they kept trying to "fix" the old ones until they admitted they'd just have to put in new things (like a garbage disposal). The toilet always runs and when we moved in it was crusted all over with diarrhea. The neighbors are alright. That's not a problem. The pool isn't heated, and when I asked why, they said one person complained that it was too warm. There is no cupboard space in the kitchen. You can't open one cupboard all the way because the dishwasher blocks it. We had a wasp nest in our fireplace. You have to pay extra for utilities even though the rent is already ridiculous. And seriously, my number one complaint is the management. They're terrible. The woman in the office made me cry one time. If you're going to pay this high of rent for a pokey little apartment, the management ought to at least be courteous, but they're absolutely selfish, greedy, lazy and cruel. If you're thinking about moving here, keep looking. There are apartments close by for less that will have higher ratings. There's nothing worth having here. I heard the old management was good. It's too bad. The new management raised the prices so much that most of the old residents moved out, and only suckers like me moved in.

Anonymous... No, I have never lived in a junkyard, but I don't need to have to be displeased with paying through the ears to be yelled at by some aggressive duffalump in the office here. I had a rat in my kitchen, incidentally, but it was just one, and it didn't bother me. It seems to have wandered off on its own. On the bright side, they changed the air filters in here this week, and now for some reason the heater is REALLY LOUD. It woke me up. I'm moving out at the end of the month though, so screw it. To live here you have to be financially well off, have no time to shop around, and be a very good sport. $1400 a month for a hole in the wall. Even if I was well off I wouldn't renew my lease for that amount for this pokey little place. I should get at LEAST 1200 sq feet for that.
I think you work in the office here and are offened and pretending to be a resident. Oh good, there goes my heater. VRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!

I couldn't agree more!!! That's why I moved out. The people in the management office are out right -------!! There are not only wasps, but RATS EVERYWHERE! In fact one of them ATE through the wiring in my engine!! Managment, of course didn't give a rats ass...pun intended!! For your sake, I hope you find a new place, there are several in that same area that are really nice. Nobody should have to put up with slum lords for that price!!!!

I hate to tell you this but no, I don't work in the office. Just a resident stating what I see. I have no problems with the office staff at all. They have been very friendly with me. It seems to me that you must be the "problem" and they are just trying to get rid of you so thus, they majorly increased you rent!!! When I had to transfer, they tried to work it out so I can move into the same sq ft. so I can pay the same rent. Gee, they worked with me???
