Well, I've lived here a year and I can't wait to move out! The apartments are nice on the inside. Fairly roomy and nicely laid out. They are also in close vicinity of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. However, they are also right by the Centennial Airport. I have been woken up numerous times to hearing jets flying over and I thought they were going to rip the roof right off! I am constantly hearing my neighbors stomp up and down the stairs and I can even feel the vibrations through the floor. The parking situation is the WORST I've seen anywhere. There are 24 (yes, I counted them) open parking spots for the 4 buildings in my area to use and each building has about 12 apartments to it. You can rent a carport or garage, but they'll rape you for it. This forces people to park in the fire lanes or pretty much in the middle of the street, which they've seriously done. They never plow the parking lots or put down sand when it snows. I have blasted my water heater and still only lukewarm comes out during the winter. It takes forever for the heater to heat up my apartment in the winter. I have never had an Xcel bill run so high before. It's supposed to be a gated community, but they NEVER close the gates, so it's pointless. A few of the girls in the office are very sweet, but the rest of the management is rude and could care less about how things are going. They don't have much in grassy areas for you to take your dog to play. There is a big open field behind the complex, but you have to walk all the way around and outside of the complex gates to get to it. It's not kept up and there are lots of snakes and coyotes that could harm your pet. I've had quick responses from the maintenance staff when I've had to call them out, but it's hard to communicate my problem to them because they don't speak any English. They charge OUTRAGEOUS "administration fees" which basically means that you're paying a "deposit" where you don't get ANY of it back. Same with pet deposits and pet rent.
