I have lived here for nine months and will be moving at the end of my lease simply because I am relocating to another city. The apartments are nearly new (I live in a building that was finished the week before I moved in). There were some slight imperfections in the construction (knicks in the flooring, dings on the drywall) that have never been repaired, but its nothing that I am going to make a terrible fuss about. Maintenance leaves something to be desired, though. Rather than call a phone number for maintenance, you must submit your request in writing. The repairs that I asked for took several days to fix, and mgmt. never told me if they were fixed; I had to ask. They didn't even tell me what the emergency 24-hour number for maintenance was until I had already lived here for six months. The wall provide good insulation, but the stairs to upstairs apartments (inside the building) are hollow so someone on the first floor hears pounding when people go upstairs, even if the people walk quietly. Also, the leasing staff is very apathetic and doesn't care much about customer service. However, it was nothing that was so severe that I wouldn't recommend the place. The apartments are very nice and reasonably priced. There is very little crime, no car break-ins or anything that serious, just kids who skate in the parking lot and the cops warn them. Overall, the benefits outweigh the costs.
