I lived here for two years. My first year was not so bad, I had a one bedroom one bath on the second level, not too many problems to report, but then when it came time to transfer from that into a two bedroom it was problem after problem. Once I finally got into the two bedroom it was small, and it was not very clean. I noticed that after only living in the two bedroom for a few months that there was a problem with ants and spiders in the second bedroom the kitchen and the bathroom, I had to make three requests for the pest control before it was taken care of, and then still it continued to be a problem. Then there was this massive bee hive outside my bedroom window, I asked to have it removed, so I come home only to find that the hive had been knocked out of the window but was laying in the rocks just outside of my window still very much active with bees. I had to call again to request that it be removed. My refridge broke down and it took several hours to get someone in there to take a look at it. The parking lot was very difficult to find parking in, not to mention it was always very dark.
So because I had such a great experience with my one bedroom here my sister and two of my friends made the decision to move into this complex and they were equally disappointed with this place. My sisters car was stolen, and they did not do anything about it, the gates were always left open, the so called security I dont think they really had one. My poor sister and her husband, the neighbors above them had their hot water heater explode and caused a huge flood down into my sisters apartment, in the wall the carpet was soaked. They called for maintaince at around 1 am and nothing happend, luckily my bro-in-law worked for flood restoration and knew what to do, the leasing office was about to make a big stink about him cutting a hole in the wall for the water to escape from and make a gripe fest about him pulling up the carpet, but once they finally came in and looked at the damages they apologized, however you would think that they would compensate him in some manner for doing that you know like maybe take a little off the rent but nothing. Not even a dinner gift card to say thank you.
As for my friends, they hated it for many of the reasons listed above, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you happen to see the police driving around in the parking lot its not to patrol but its more then likely because they are calling on a domestic dispute or a drug deal.
Save your efforts and go somewhere else, there are many other places with more sq footage, cleaner looking and less expensive as this dive.
Just in case you all were wondering...my one bedroom there was $650 a month my two bedroom there was $730 when my lease was about to end they wanted to raise the rent to $820, I did not even have 820 sq ft in my aparment.
