here is the letter that I wrote the staff here. If you move here this is what you can expect.
I have been living at Towne Centre past four years. I am increasingly disappointed with the level of customer service and professionalism that your organization has provided me. That!&s why I am choosing not to renew my lease this year.
On more then several occasions my unit has been in !'unlivable!( conditions. Just this month I was without hot water for an entire weekend. In the month of August I had no water at all for almost 2 entire days while your staff fixed a break in a water main. The first night I suffered with no working toilet or shower and had to miss work the next day. The second night I had to go stay at a hotel. Which my insurance covered but I had to spend my time and money driving around trying to find a place with vacancy.
This year is not the only time that I have had problems. Last year I spent over 6 weeks complaining about my neighbor across the hall. He was allowing his dog to relieve himself on my doormat every morning. This incident not only caused me extreme frustration but time out of my busy schedule to make these complaints. The same year I had a leaky water valve, which was located behind my bookcase. My bookcase was ruined and has since been replaced by your staff. But, also several books were ruined and my apartment reeked for days.
A few of the other problems I have had are:
X Leaks in the bathroom pipes. Resulting in having the carpeted padding to be very poorly replaced. You can see where the padding does not match up through the carpet.
X Both of the sinks have had pipes leaking underneath causing damage to my items stored in the cabinets.
X The first year I lived there I had no heat. They replaced the thermostat on the wall. But left the holes and unpainted surface where the old thermostat used to be.
X I had one maintenance person come into my apartment while I was in there without knocking and another one stole a magazine that I had yet to read right off of my desk.
Also: since they bill the heat per building anf then divide it up you can expect to pay a bundle even if you are never home. Sometimes the porch lights arent on at night and the bushes go over all the walkways so youll be tripping all over the place.
