I'd reccomend it

To give a more well-rounded view of the apartments:
I moved in about two and a half years ago with some concerns, however the staff has been nothing but gracious and nice to me. My guess is most complaints about staff are coming from unreliable tenants.
Anytime I needed management to fix anything they were prompt and courteous even responding to a call on a holiday weekend within the hour. The parking lot was cleared manageably well within the first day of the 2006 blizzard and has been kept clear since.
The location is convenient, within walking distance of a few grocery stores and a lake.
It can be noisy at times, especially in the rooms facing the parking lots but I've found that a fan drowns out most noise, and rarely is the noise intolerably loud... and I'm picky!
Tenants are a mix of college students, families and a few questionables mixed into the lot. As a single woman I feel safe about 85% of the time but I do limit my time outside when it's dark.
My apartment is definitely hot, the plus side being that I haven't turned the heat on yet this winter, the minus side being that summer gets a bit sticky.
I'm moving out in a few days and I can only hope I find something this affordable and decent in Boulder!
