I am filing this complaint due to a payment dispute of 1221.00 with Bull Run. Bull Run's business practices are irresponsible and I am in no debt to them. Bull Run has filed with National Credit Systems due to a discrepancy with the lease termination. I had made numerous attempts with Bull Run to communicate my lease termination, including signed contracts, verbal agreements, letters, and calls to their corporate and parent companies. In a each case my effort to resolve the lease termination was ignored. The history of the lease termination is as follows: Some months prior to moving out I had signed lease termination papers. At that time I was in the process of purchasing a house and the closing date was a moving target. I communicated this to ------------ of Bull Run and she reassured me that Bull Run be flexible. Fast forward a few months; I had confirmed a closing date and went back over to the Bull Run office; the management staff had changed and the prior agreement was not honored. After unsuccessfully negotiations I called their corporate offices and left 2 messages including a return phone number. My messages were ignored and I received no reply. I then wrote Bull Run a letter and personally handed it to their staff. The letter stated the exact day we would be moving out and I paid them 100.00 dollars in addition to the last month of rent. I received no response to the letter. The letter was delivered a full month prior to my moving out and my apartment building was less than 100 yards from the office building. No Bull Run personal tried to contact me. The day I moved out was Saturday, May 31. The following Monday I returned the key with our letter providing our forwarding address. That was June 2. Today, July 25th I received a letter in the mail from the National Credit Systems, Inc. requesting a debt of 1221.00 owed to Bull Run. I had received zero notification from Bull Run despite leaving them my forwarding address. Numerous calls to Bull Run this morning have been of no value and I have been denied access to higher management. I even requested numbers from ------ at Bull run in the event that legal papers need to be drawn and delivered and her response was "send them to me". Bull Run is owned by Sun America in Los Angeles. I would like to know where to send a letter from an attorney and I would also like to hold Bull Run responsible for breaking their original agreement, ignoring numerous customer concerns and possible damages to my credit score. Similar things have happened to me! All I can find out about higher management is that AMD is still the management company, and there is a President and Vice President of that company who may be interested in ------'s very unprofessional behavior! Unfortunately, there is a chain of command. So, the Regional Manager's name is -----, and she works at Bull Run full-time, from what I understand. Call and ask for ----- directly (in the mornings), and do not say who you are before you get to talk to her. If she can't help you and won't give you any names and numbers for corporate, then try calling a sister development who is also managed by AMD, and maybe one of their managers will give you the contacts of the Vice President. I honestly can not believe ------ is still in a postition of mangement at Bull Run. Maybe if they drug tested her, they would see that she is not a professional person. Sorry about your luck, keep up the fight!

Definitely follow the chain of commend as stated above, but I would also file a complaint with the BBB regarding your situation.

You need to get a life, read your lease and follow it to the letter and you won't have any problems.
