I think for the cost to luxury ratio, they're not that amazing. Although, you get a lot of space. I can't complain, as I'm a college student and I don't know many that have walk-in closets. The kitchens aren't too impressive, but they're adequate, with plenty of counter space. There's a lot of stuff that breaks and such, but it's fixed very quickly. I'm definitely happy with the maintenance staff. The staff in the office is great as well, they're polite and friendly. The best thing about them is their energy efficiency, it's absolutely amazing. My utility bills are insanely low here, kudos for that. The parking is all right, although a pain sometimes due to a lack of tenant courtesy. I don't like AIMCO's policy on rent and such (there's abolutely no leeway for rent being late, and they charge $100 for each day it's late past the first). I think, because they're owned by a giant penny-pinching company, they suck in that sense. I still live here, so they haven't tried to screw me out of anything, although there wasn't much clarity on the move-in fees until the move-in time. Overall, I'd say they're all right, but being owned by a very large company makes them much less appealing. They also need to have a more consistent management staff. I would recommend moving in here, but definitely ask a lot of questions and keep very good records, just for your own protection. Near my apartment there's oten a lot of broken glass on the ground from the fire extinguisher holders, but I chalk that up to mistakes or someone being stupid, they're not very quick about getting it cleaned up though.
