My husband and I will never suggest to any of our family and friends to live at Parkwood East Apartments. There were so many things wrong with the management of these apartments; I don?t even know where to begin.

The office staff is incompetent at best and extremely disorganized. They lost two of our checks. One check was for December?s rent; the office staff called to say they would charge us a fee for having turned in rent and late and that if we didn?t pay by the end of the week, we?d be evicted. Needless to say, when I found out it had cleared our bank the week before hand, I was livid. The staff person just laughed and said it was their mistake! The other check was a deposit to reserve the clubhouse for a baby shower. Not only did they lose the check, they forgot to reserve the clubhouse for us! It was a good thing we had the foresight to call before we sent out invitations.

Maintenance was always under par and never complete. The closet doors in our bathroom were never on the rails; even after being told repeatedly that it was ?fixed?. We had a bird?s nest living in one of our vents and maintenance would never come to take care of it; even after finding worms on our toilet seats one morning. Our dryer rarely worked at full capacity but maintenance swore they had ?fixed? it.

It?s a bad, bad idea to give any business to these apartments.
