I need only be short and sweet and to-the-point. When I moved into Parkwood, everything was fine for the most part and I had very few complaints. After about two years, the property was taken over by another company and things went downhill fast. Every criticism leveled at it on this site is valid. However, all pale in comparison to the fact that a young woman with a criminal record and a severe substance abuse problem was hired to be a leasing consultant in the front office. Yes, a leasing consultant with access to keys to tenant s apartments and personal information. The criminal background was confirmed by a simple search I performed on the Internet, which revealed the details of her multiple arrests and the fact that she was on probation. Based on the comings and goings at her apartment (she was a close neighbor) and the behavior I observed, I knew she couldn t last forever. Eventually, after a weekend of the usual partying, this employee was fired. The minute she was out of my life I confronted the management. The property manager was away, so I vented to her assistant and left a request that I be called. I was ignored. When I moved out, I finally was able to express my anger and disgust to the property manager and she placed the blame on the home office. The current management of this property does not deserve a cent of your money. I could of course provide numerous details, but what I've written above should be enough to convince you to look elsewhere.
