We have owned a unit in the Pier appartments for sometime now and I must agree on one thing, the Pier Management Sucks. As an owner, the management on site are worthless. The are the most unhelpful, lazy people I have ever met. As for the complex in general, I think it is a good place. I have never had a complaint from one of my tenants and yes they do often extend thier lease. The main reason I lose them is because they opt to buy a place instead of Rent. I do have my own maintenance guy and refuse to let the the complex's old guy in my place. The point of this post is that the pier is a great place as long as you don't go through the complex and you use a private owner who can treat thier tenants like an actual person.
