I moved into Rams Crossing a couple of months ago and I am extremely disappointed. About a week after moving in I noticed the disgusting mold problem in my bathroom. I used the neccessary cleaning appliances to get rid of it and days later the mold and discoloration on the walls returned (this is a result from the lack of venilation.) I have to shower with the door open and the fan on to keep the mold from getting worse and I don't even think that helps. Another problem is the heat, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
The most frustrating thing is the construction that has been going on for 2 and a half months. I work sometimes until 2 or three in the morning and every morning between 7:45 and 8:30 I am woken up, and it lasts all day!!! It has gotten so bad that I stay at friends houses sometimes just to get sleep. I have to go to the library to do my homework instead of being able to use the computer and internet that I pay for. It is so loud!!! The situation that I am in is absolutely rediculous. I have spoken with the leasing office twice now and nothing has been done. I realize that the noise is not their fault but I don't pay $600 a month to not be able to stay at my apartment. We should be compensated for the months that we are being disturbed. If I was disturbing my neighbors I'm positive that the leasing office would take action, it's just not fair. When I spoke with someone in the office I was told that they were giving out pizza coupons for anyone that felt inconvenienced! I don't think they have any idea how bad it is and they don't seem to care.
At this point I am stuck- my only option is to sublease the apartment. Why would I want anyone to have to deal with these problems'
To sum it up, I would definitely not recommend the apartments.
P.S. My neighbors have been great!
